Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend

I woke up around 5:30am, out of bed at 5:45 am haha...Then after getting fresh and having breakfast, it was time to go workout. It wasn't even 6:30am and I reached there.

I did back workout and some shoulder stretches, it felt awesome. Then about 10  minutes meditation to end. I reached work at 8 am sharp, then the day continued.

Here is what I had for lunch and dinner, they were tasty.

Wai Wai fried with colored peppers, red onion, brocolli and dry fish

After work, I came home straight as I was starting to feel tired and felt I needed to rest. Instead of resting, I came home and then put a load laundry. While laundry was getting washed, I made some mushroom, and also Quinoa with Salmon, Spinach, colored peppers, onion, brocollli. It tasted so good and here what it looked like.

Memorial Day with friiend and her family

I had an alright spin workout, then a very short workout in the pool, just 3 laps I think. Then after getting ready, made a stop at a grocery store, picked up Pineapple, and some other stuff.

I had my lunch Quinoa burger, just the patty with an Organic egg and additional 2 egg whites. While I made those, I got the skew ready in the sticks. It all looked good and then cut the Pineapple. It was 1pm when I was done with everything, I sat for about 30 minutes and was soon time to head out to Orono. It was my first time, the area is good for a nice evening drive, windy roads, slow drive with beautiful lake view.

I had a good time at friend's place. I had a very good homemade Rhubarb pie and also the bakes tasty Butternut squash which both I do not eat. Their house have a nice deck with a lake view. A nice afternoon with new friends.

Today, I had good workout

I did the Yoga, the practice wasn't so good. I then went to the pool and did 10 laps and that was good. I came home had my lunch around 2pm maybe. I also walked around 4:15 pm for about half hour and the day was over soon.

Saturday today, no gym

Stephanie wasn't doing the spin class and I didnt make it to the gym this morning. I woke up tired, god knows why so I decided to stay in bed till a lilttle late. I also talked to Nhasala cha, while she entertained babu.

I had breakfast late, after a shower, I decided to go to Southdale Mall to return few things, so I decided to text my friend if she wanted to join. I got there around 2pm and went to return the things. I was trying out a top when she called me. I was at Express and we met there. After purchasing the top, we made a stop at Ann Taylor and Loft. After that was Sephora and then Macy's. After making a stop at Estee Lauder for some foundation. we started looking at clothes. We both found few tops and we purchased it. It was about 4:30pm, we made a stop at Starbucks to have some Green tea.

We sat there, talked about some plans, day to day things. Soon it was time to head to have dinner. And then soon was time to get to the Theatre to watch Hidden Figures. I purchased popcorn and she purchased water. We both enjoyed watching the movie. By the time, the movie finished it was about 9:15 pm, then it was time to bye for the night. And my Saturday finished with a friend.

Friday evening before Memorial Weekend

I didn't workout in the morning, and thought I would be walking with my friend, but that didn't happen. So, after work I decided to come home, relax and sit down doing nothing. On the way home, I decided to make a stop at Cub foods and buy some fish along with Club Soda as my stomach needed some. I also bought few other stuff with fish and Club Soda.

It was hot and humid and I had a sudden desire to have beer. I made a stop at Sid's Liquor store and purchased Heineken and it was on sale. I had to ditch Stella. While I was there, I thought of inviting Melissa and that worked out.

I came home, started preparing for Momo and it took about 2 hours to get things ready and cook. Momo tasted goood with chilled beer in a chilled Beer Mug. After that, we talked about different things and also planned out plan for Saturday. It was little after 7pm, when she left, I sat down, talked to mom and dad for few minutes and Friday evening was over for me.

A rainy Saturday, had two good workout and good food

It was an all day rainy day today. I didn't wake up very fresh, but I made it to the Spin class, I had a great workout. After taking shower and getting ready, I drove to the dealer for the event where I got my stuff. Then made a stop at Target, purchased a swimsuit which I never thought to even look at, also purchased another Speedo Swimcap. 


It was still raining when I came out from Target, it was almost time for my swim class, I had an apple and headed to the class. I tried my new swimsuit and new swim cap. It was awesome and did many laps, some more exercise. After all those workout, I came home and decided to eat the 9 momos left in the freezer. The achaar was super tasty. While momo was getting steamed, I had the achaar with some healthy Chips from Trader Joes. 

I didn't go outside rest of the day, had the weather been nice, would have gone to the MidTown market to watch those dance but I didn't as it didn't stop rain. And as for dinner, here is what I did to the Pad Thai leftoever from Friday lunch, it looked much better and tasted better as well. I should go  to that restaurant be their Chef. ðŸ˜ƒ

Friday had lunch at Thai restaurant previously knows as Thanh Do

The menu looked slightly different and me and my friend wanted to go try. It wasn't anything we missed, had we skipped the lunch plan at that place.

The only two things changed were Name of the Retaurant, and the Lunch Menu got expensive as they separated the Appetizers and Soup. In the past, Lunch Menu had Appetizers (Fresh Spring roll or Fried Egg Roll), Soup and an Entree. For $10.99 - $12.99 it was a good deal but after the menu change, it cost way more.

I would have liked it, if the quality of food increased but no. So, no more Thanh Do for me. Now its known as Kai & Little Crustacean. My take on this is that, no matter what you do, change the name or menu, if the quality of the food is not good, its useless. I would have enjoyed the meal if the Tofu PadThai tasted good. What is the point of big portion of Pa Thai which doesn't taste so good. 

I had shared the Veggie Egg Roll with my friend and that was a bad idea. I don't know what it had, or maybe because I do not eat deep fried food much, my stomach felt so huge rest of the afternoon, I took few short walks, didn't sit and used my standing desk but didn't help at all. 

I ate about 1/3rd of the Pad Thai and brought the leftover. After work made a stop at Kohls to return all those things I purchased, then came home and had the Soda in Nepali style, it definitely made my stomach feel better. 

Then the dinner was few momos with tasty achaar.

Beautiful Sunday morning

Yoga was good, then was cycling time at 1pm. It was a limestone trail, was mostly flat, slightly hills in some parts but wasn't that bad. The trail wasn't too crowded either.

After coming back, I washed my bike and came upstairs. Then I went downstairs to wash my car, by that time I was super tired. I came back and took a wash. Now, I am typing this entry and the day is almost ovr.

Saturday, a Sunny day

I started my day with the Spin class, then at 1pm was my swim class. I practiced the Elementary Back stroke again. I also tried to front crawl with the barbell. I slightly learned the trick to front crawl without any tool.

I then fell asleep around the afternoon, made some food to eat. The day just passed. I watched a movie thinking its very funny, it wasn't but long for sure. Just another Saturday and the day is over.

Time for the yummy soup full of nutrients

I have been lazy to stir fry brocolli or boil it, so I decided to eat brocolli in a different way. And here is what the soup looks like and it was yummy.

Ingredients in the soup : Brocolli, Mushroom, Cauliflower, Green Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Tomoatoes, Boiled Kidney Beans and Spices, at the end hint of Lemon
