Finally, found a pair of long boots

I have purchased about half dozen boots, looked at many other pairs so that I can have a pair of long boots. I ordered, it got delivered and I went to return in the store. Again, ordered and I ordered, it got delivered and I went to return in the store. After few of these saga,  I have finally found something today.

I'm hoping to receive it soon, I will call it my New Year's gift to myself. The size I found in the store was slightly big, and its coming in mail, woohoo. Hopefully, it will be nice to own this and my feet will love it.

Birthday today and momo evening with friends

My shoes didn't arrive for my birthday, however I purchased a pair of pants, definitely made me feel happy to have something new on my birthday. We did the birthday blessings and then was time to get things ready for Momo as I invited my friends.

Oh, I almost forgot my big birthday cake. It was very cold and somewhat icy outside and some friends arrived much later than we have expected. Another set however, arrived on exact time which surprised me.

Overall, it was a nice birthday celebrated with family and friends. The facial reaction on Mihir while blowing the candle just made it more special. Love kids.

Air Fryer has finally reached my kitchen

First thing, we used to make it was French Fries homemade, I wasn't impressed. We then fried another vegetable, not impressed again. So,much for this long wait. I am hoping to have better luck next when we make something else.

One more year and one more birthday approaching

Like every year, I make sure I have some new clothes or shoes for my birthday. This year is not any different. I wait to see the deals and make the purchases. I had seen this really beautiful booties from GUESS. And I purchased it during the holiday so, so I can have it for my birthday. Unfortunately, the shoes is not going to make it on time.

August through October, flew by

I was waiting for end of August to come to see my parents here. The day came, almost two months passed in a matter of minutes, at least that's how it feels at the moment.

We didn't travel a lot like I had planned, but we made it to the Windy City and it was a good visit. Saturday was a very beautiful day, we walked around 13 miles and Sunday followed by rainy cold day. Then it was Fish lake, Medicine lake, Sculpture Garden, StoneArch bridge and many more.

The weekend starting from September till the 3rd week of October just flew by with family visit, family time. This year, I didn't make it to a new country or new state yet. However, the family time, I have had, had been wonderful and can't ask more.

6 months ago today, someome left with many promises

Those promises quickly turned out to be a lie within weeks. I had started to believe on that individual but, my trust felt like broken again. I suppose for person like me, who makes promises to keep, this is hard to deal with. Realizing all that heart aches, mind gets a bit frustrated and angry as well.

The truth about life is that, one needs to learn to be selfish, manipulative and again selfish. Not having that quality, always hurts because today's world is full of these kind of people. Nice and honest people have no place in this world, as they always go through lot of crap in life, sometimes because they trust others, sometimes this nature is just that way.

Ocean city, MD and Virginia

I have been hearing Ocean City is beautiful from long long time. Last Saturday, I made it to the city. Getting there wasn't a fun ride as there was so much traffic however, I went there once and that's enough for the rest of my life.

I have seen many beautiful places than this but one time experience was nice. Walking around the board walk all day was not very fun. Later on after playing in water followed by frizbee made the trip very much worth it.

July trip in Austin

I was looking forward to this trip and going here and there in Austin. It was very hot there in the 100s and it was sticky and super hot.

Going to Oasis, made it to Barton Spring Pool, the beautiful library, Travis lake, you name it, everything fun. The only not so much fun part was not able to sleep due to the heat.

Once again no gym. But after getting done with breakfast, talked to my family, took shower, got ready and went to meet my friend for lunch, walk and shopping.

The lunch was good, followed by shopping. I found some items at Express.

Then we drove to Marshalls, DSW. She found a nice red dress and some other stuff. DSW didn't workthis time. After a long walk, we said goodbye to each other.

I decided to drop in to TJMaxx and HomeGoods where I found additional stuff. The shoes that I saw in Tjmaxx, made me feel so happy but, the size was half size too small. However, I found a top, bra and a pair of pants. Then pillow at HomeGoods. Oh man after that I was tired of walking in my 1 inch flat.

Friday after work, probably out final walks

Friday morning, I couldn't get to the gym as planned. I got to work a bit later than normal but, I got some stuff done. It was a busy morning. Afternoon was just wasn't productive as the morning. After work, we had a walk planned. I went to Marinas to see the empty house, picked up few things and after an hour walk, came home, had some food.

I sat down with half a glass of wine and called it a day, I should say called it a week.

Finally found a piece I was looking for the house

Glass decorative shelf, I have been searching for a long time, finally it came to me. It makes me so happy every time I see it. Now, I feel like my house is almost complete.

June 1st, two years went by fast

Two years ago today, I closed on my house. Two years later today, I am looking and thinking back about that day, how I felt, what I did after the key was on my hand. So, many things were running in my mind, how when what etc etc...

Celebrated the day with few of my friends, and was a nice day overall. Weather was nice, we could sit sometime in the patio.

Finally the box has been removed and the space has been filled with ....

Its been a long time, I have been searching for a dining table and the day has come and the space has been filled with a nice set. My house feels complete with this beautiful set. 

Its a very nice feeling to see this. Oh my my, I simply love it.

Finally the ceilng got the ceiling fans

The ceiling fans have been sitting on the living room floor for months. They have been telling me either return us or hang us so that we can give you air.

The day has finally come, today I got them hung on the ceiling and they can be started for air.

1st day of Carpeting and snow storm started

I have been wanting get the carpet done in the house since I bought it, which is almost two years ago. Finally, the day came and same day snow decided to show up. Both the upstairs rooms are carpeted, so far I feel good.

Its been ages I wrote something here.

I have done so many things in the last month. I have done shopping, some I have returned and again purchased new things. In these few weeks, I have purchased two jackets. One is a Columbia, the one I have is Turquoise with Grey on my arms. Below is the design, its not what I have.

I have also done a lot of cooking, from Wo, soup, to Momo few times to Khyausay to Quinoa bowl to salad, you name it. Its been very busy.
