And just like that the year 2017 is ending

Today is the last day of the year 2017. It's Sajan dai's 40th surpirse birthday party ogarnized by Ar bhauju. I am excited about the party. Its been super cold, frezing here in MN. While I am looking forward to the party, I am checking out 1920's Gatsby party theme attire.

I have firgured out the dress, I have a nice blue dress which I have worn once back when I went to Australia and today its going to be the best dress. As for make-up, I watched few tutorials, but I can't figure out how I would do it. Because its not as easy as they do in the tutorials. I will try what I can.

At 4:30 pm
I was all set with my makeup, then was time to wear my beautiful dress. It was so cold outside that I couldn't tell what shoes to wear. I put on my black suede boots with embroidery but it didn't go with my dress. Of course, not having a full size mirror, didn't help me. I tried my MK high heels, it looked hot but it didn't satisfy my heart. So, I decided to try my brand new Mix No.6 Royal Blue pumps. I was worried, it might be a bit too much blue but I went with it anyway.

Since it was so cold outside, I wore my beautiful black tights with my winter boots. I thought I would remove the boots and tights when I reach the party.

At 5pm
It was time to leave home wearing my brand new Jacket and brand new shoes. Oh I was loving this feeling. Even though deep inside, I was missing something.

Super cold day today and just another day of shopping at DSW

I wanted to go for a walk, but when I looked at the weather, I realized it was colder than I thought. It was feels like -33 Fahrenheit with sun shining outside. Only if my house was facing South, that would be super nice.

I had oatmeal for breakfast and then to took a wash, put some make up and looked nice. I also packed my hair to make it curly. I waited waited and waited, finally I decided to watch a movie. I then decided to make a call, phone was not received but text message came. The call did come after about 50 minutes, I was upset. I had to say what I had in mind, the whole thing is stressing me and making me sad.

I wish so many things, is it too much to ask for you to call me on time, write to me. The conversation wasn't great, so I said bye and take care. I didn't travel this weekend for a reason and that just fell apart, I feel sad. I don't know why this kind of thing happens to me always. I then had the leftover Momo from yesterday with lot of achaar. Also decided to have some ice cream.

I checked my email and saw, my jackets were delivered. The black jacket was nice, the blue was nice too but the fitting in the waist line, wasn't great. My heart is feeling sad but I am telling it, everything will be okay. I am deserve it better. While watching a stupid slightly fun movie, I did some shopping at DSW.

Then around 3pm, I decided to make go outside to TJmaxx, to return my puffy purple jacket from two weeks ago. I got home, made some noodle with vegetables and then started watching another movie.

A bitter cold day, spent alone but with a hope that things will be better tomorrow. Thinking about stuff, makes me emotional. While watching movie, did some knee/leg workout, then another 40 minutes of cycling, so some workout was better than no workout at all.

Last Friday of this year 2017

This super cold weather has made me feel tired and has been making it hard to get up at my regular time since I got back. I have hardly been to the gym this month, at least I have worked out at home. I am in need to super good sweaty and high calorie burn workout the next 6 weeks before the big day. 

I went to work but I had no motivation, all I thought was, if these two weeks office was closed, I could have flown home again and spend time with my Yomari. How, I wish I had more time with you. 

I waited for my regular phone call, I waited waited and waited, never came. Around 2pm, I decided to leave for home. I made a stop at a grocery store to pick up some tomatoes, brocolli, peppers and cilantro. There was no green cilantro so I thought of using the other seeds at home. 

I got home, started getting things ready for Momo and wrapped too by 3 pm. I then cut and marinated the Rainbow trouts and then broiled and baked. It turned out good as well. Anup and Sabi got here, just after 5pm. While I waited for them to get here, I put some Nepal Bhasa music vidoes, it was nice. 

We all ate some Rainbow trouts, then cooked the Momo. I opened the Smoking Loon's Merlot, it was super good tonight. We all enjoyed momo, there was about 6-7 left, and I saved for breakfast tomorrow. After having dinner, we had more conversation, laugh. It was time for some dessert, ice cream and barfi. Soon, it was 9:30 pm, and they left. It was time for me to go to bed. A very good Friday evening of this year, which is also the last Friday. I hope and wish to have a good year ahead. 

Once again I wanted to buy the Smoky Palette

Its Christmas eve today. I woke up, as usual had breakfast, got ready to head outside for a bit. That is when I noticed, the snow flakes, I thought, perhaps I should stay home. I changed my outfit and decided to cycle, that is when I realized, it was no longer showing and was sunny outside. After about 10 minutes of cycling, I stopped, changed and went out. haha...

I went out to Knollwood just for the palette. I made a stop at Nordstrom Rack, Ulta and Tjmaxx. I didn't purhcase anything other than the Palette. I went to Tjmaxx with a hope to find a nice purse along with some make up stuff.

After the Palette shopping, I came home, made the Quinoa Shrimp Stir Fry and then did some cycling. Then got ready for the Christmas Party at Sajan dai and Ar bhaujus. Even though I didn't decided to not fly out and stay in town, having different things each day was nice. Yesterday, I went to Anup and Sabi's, we had some good conversation and laugh. It was super nice. Tomorrow is Monday and I don't have anything going on but, it will be nice to stay home before work on Tuesday.

The day before Christmas eve

I had breakfast, my regular phone conversation and then did what I was supposed to do during the day time. Soon, it was time to go to Anup and Sabi's. Its about 35 minutes drive, a bit far but the roads were clean so wasn't too bad.

I reached there just about 3:15pm, we sat down, stared talking about my trip home and all other important stuff. Then Sabi made some chatpat, was slightly different but was tasty. The conversation continued, we made so much jokes, talked etc etc. I always have fun hanging out with them, its nice. Around 7 pm, we started having dinner. It wasn't anything fancy but was so tasty to eat together. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Soon, it was time to leave their house and head home. It was about 9 pm when I left their house. Around 9:40 or so, I reached home and was time to head to sleep. Such a good day. Just another Saturday with friends.

Jacket shopping at TJmaxx

I have been shopping for a jacket from last year. This year, I have so far purchased 4 jackets. When I purchased the Calvin Klein, I thought I found it, when I brought it home, it wasn't what I wanted. It wasn't quite what I was looking for so I returned it.

Then I ordered two more maroon color jackets online, I wasn't quite sure but I ordered it anyway, the quality was bad. Then I purchased a Michael Kor, purple puffy jacket, it was nice but something in the chest didn't feel right and I still haven't wore it after two weeks.

Today I purchased two more jackets online, one of which I think I will like it. Its long like a coat, hope I will like it. The greyish bluish looks nice online but not sure how it will be in real.
