Its just another Wednesday

I was at work and Brian had left me a voicemail saying, please call back. That's when I found out, one is almost gone another is not in a nieghborhood. Then the other one I wanted to look at had an offer and I still could go take a look at tonight but at 8pm.

It felt like a drag and was raining. I made it there, it was beautiful, I somehow liked it. But I had very little time and had to make a decision. I talked to Brian asked him a lot of question, and now I am home, thinking how and what to do next.

Speech # 3 in Toastmaster today

Once again, I didn't want to wake up today, sorta wanted to be in bed. I woke up at 6am, got fresh and having breakfast, I wented to the Gym. I was tired, but I had to burn some calories and sweat.

I decided to do my legs today. I started with the side shuffle in the basketball court.After the class was open, I started squats and side leg lifts. I did 3 sets of 30 on both side. My heart rate was up and I was sweating, then was time to keep doing some high knees. Then was time for calf lifts, 3 different set of 30 each. Then one last thing, was to walk around in the class with calves lifted. It was just abut 40 minutes workout, but was awesome. 

As always, every Sprint Demo, Retro and Planning day is Toastmaster and I had my 3rd speech. My speech went great, my only complain is I went over by couple of minutes, as I showed the visual aids which I hadn't plan to show that way. Now, I know what to do next time. I received good feedbacks as well and I was happy. 

After the planning, went to get some popcorn with my popcorn partner, then walked with my walking partner for about 10 minutes. Around 4:30pm, it was time to head out from work to get to an appointment at 5pm. The appointment second show was nice, first was no good. 

After coming home, Nhas cha called me, we walked about my speech, and that somehow inspired her to do something similar at work, Perhaps Brown Bag lunch, I gave her some ideas. Upon finishing that topic, we had some very good laugh, it was fun. Overall, an okay day. 

I hope to sleep better, wake up fresh and be ready for tomorrow's workout. I am not sure, whether I will swim, do my arms, shoulder or back. I will find out tomorrow morning, I am all set as my gym bag is ready with work clothes.

Monday today, the day I had an appointment with the Ortho

The day started out okay and the appointment just afternoon. I waited about 5-10 minutes when the nurse came to get me. She was very thorough on the checkup before the doctor arrived after looking at my MRI report.

I waited, waited, started to think, they forgot about me, as the nurse didn't come back with a doctor for more than 30 minutes. Really ? Do I pay $$$ to wait ? My time has value too, and I have to go back to work too. Anyways, finally the doctor came and briefly explained the one of the images. I was upset, really upset that now I have to come back again to see another doctor, pay about $150 - $200 for a visit, leave work and get there.

I wish the doctor has referrred me the other doctor in the first place. I got back to work a bit pissed off. I had to cool down and so I went for a short walk with my walking partner. I was okay afterwards. Since I was gone from work for 2 hours, I skipped my Yoga, as I had planned, I didn't get to Spin class, which wasn't good. Instead I came home, made some food and relaxed. And the day was over.

After doing Yoga this morning, I came home and decided to cook some bhoye. I didn't have anything for bhoye, so I changed my Menu around and this is what I cooked. The food tasted good, as I always and I even posted in FB and wished everyone bhintuna for the festival.


Not much to write other than that. One more gloomy cloudy day, can't wait to see the Sun come out Monday.

Again, I woke up tired, I had to skip my Spin class

Skipping the Spin class on a Saturday, feels so wrong and I feel sad doing that. But, I knew I had to rest. and I had other things I had to do today.

After taking a shower, I took shower, then was time to reach the bank, then open house. Since my friends were busy, I made a stop at Southdale Mall, I started getting super super sleepy and tired. I had no ways to do so, other than go fall askeep in my car. I didn't do that, instead I ended up spending time in Macys, Victoria Secret stores. It was 3:30ish pm and I was on my way to my friends place.

It was 4pm when I got there. Then, we had some Tea with nimki, chit chat. It was about 6pm and I was thinking to head out but I was told to stay longer and we made prep work for momo. By the time, the momo got ready it was about 8:30pm, I was tired and hungry. All of us were tired by that time. Me more as I hadn't rest well the past few nights. Soon bhauju and my feet started aching, we both sat down for a bit. I didn't help her clean though, I wanted to but I was exhausted. It was around 10pm and I had a Rasbari desert.

Then after saying bye to all, it was time to head home. I was dead tired when I got home. I changed my clothes and didn't wash my face, and went to bed. Oh I did look at the new shoes, swim suita and top I got in mail from Herbergers. The sandal is so cute and comfy. Swimsuit fit me on my top but bottom was so loose, so it has to go back. I had clothes on and it was still loose. The top was okay as well.

Friday today, woke up very tired

I didn't sleep very well, and I was extremely tired when I woke up. Initially, I decided to stay in bed but thought, it might be better for me to go to the gym and meditate instead. When I reached the gym, I thought of doing some Abs. I spent about 15-20 to do that, some shoulder stretches as well and I decided to stop. Very very light workout to give my body a break.

I am hoping to rest and spin and do Yoga this weekend. Friday work started out okay, then I sent out the invite to go out for lunch at 98 pounds buffet. We were just over a half a dozen people. I ate about 12 sushi rolls, along with Tilapia, couple of pieces of Shrimp. I didn't eat breakfast today because with the tiredness, I didn't feel like having anything. Even with that much hunger, I didn't go crazy in the buffet. I drank the whole glass of water, which is normal for me. Since I didn't eat heavily, I felt like I ate about right.

After work, I made a stop at Fresh Thyme Market and Cub Foods for some Avocadoes, vegetables and Fish. At sharp 5:30pm, I reached Marina's, then we started making the food ready. While we were getting the food ready, we opened up the expensive wine.

After having dinner, I helped her cleanup a little bit. Then we had some Ginger Tea and then Pistachio Kulfi icecream, which was in the stick. It was tasty to eat with my friend and the kids. Overall, a very good Friday evening.

I got home around 9pm, decided to look at the Tax Prep. It didn't go so well, I ended up redoing it and ended up staying awake till 11:30pm. Now I am here, writing about my day and all ready to sleep. Good night to me.

Its Thursday and I don't have very interesting dinner

I am excited to think about Friday and weekend, hopefully get to do some more workout. Keeping my fingers crossed. Friday because, I am hanging out and cooking with my friend.

Its a Wednesday, a midweek and lunch for my tasty momo

I don't know why but I started getting early. I blame the desire to those tasty momo along with the mushroom I had cooked the other day.

Been wanting to eat momo and luckily had some in the freezer that I freezed

 Momo is that one food, you can never have enough, you have eat as breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner and at anytime. I make some very good momos, achhaar makes it even much more better.

Second weekend after I got back

Well, the first weekend was nothing but sleep and rest. I slept almost all day yesterday. Today I stayed awake till 2pm, took a nap for a bit, now I am writing this after making some Pwaticha tarkari/soup with nya.

Oh my my, back to MSP and now regular routine will continue soon

I woke up before 4am with jetlag and now here I am. I made a good breakfast, except I feel already hungry in an hour later, its not fun.
