I was going to take the bike in the car trunk but I changed my mind, it seemed easier to ride. However, I ran into a small challenge. Going right, left I finally made it to Erik's bike shop. Then it was the time to pick shoes, it was simple, the same shoes has been asking me to buy it from years. Somehow the color I have been looking doesn't come for road biking and indoor biking. Its just that I would have really loved it from Matt from the Minnetonka location. Last time, I called whoever was working said, Matt is no longer with the company. So, I made it to Maple Grove location.
He explained few things and I had him put the pedals on my bike. The pedals have been sitting in the box from exactly two years. Yes, it has been that long. I put on the shoes, tried what Brian the sales guy said. I went outside to ride, I thought I was natural, got hang of it so quickly. The next time, I was trying to brake and take my foot off the pedal, didn't happen on time. Before I could react, I was on the ground baam. Did it hurt ? Yes, luckily it didn't hit elbow but around, I am not sure what is that part called.
After about 5 minutes of try, I decided to ride back to get home. I picked my shoes and old pedals and headed home. It was pretty good except one time, I thought I was going to fall again but, I saved myself. Finally after years of being scared, I did it. I felt once too but that comes with it.
