First post of the year 2023

 I haven't been writing much for the past one and half years. I think about writing then I don't turn this computer to on as I can't access blogger from the work machine. 

I'm glad I am writing here today. After just around a year, I am flying back home again. I am excited at the same time, a bit nervous with some stuff. I think everything will well but, still circumstances are a little different this time.

Today, I talked to Rencha after a long time, glad she remembered to call me when she has sometime. It was nice talking to her and I finally told her what I wanted to tell her. She suggested some things and she is right on that. 

I will try to worry less and think about something good. It's hard where I am at right now. Getting back to the point, why I started writing this entry. 

I think I have most things ready for tomorrow to fly out. I am trying to remember every little thing, there are few things, I still need to do before I head out tomorrow. I have to throw the garbage, shut off the water softener at least those for now. 

Once I reach the airport and check-in, my home journey begins. I am doing few things for the first time. I will be reaching in at 1:15AM, flying back is also that late at 2:15 AM. Also, first time in many years, I purchased the entire ticket without having third party involved. I hope AA will be me the $200 credit soon. Also, another thing first time, purchased the ticket which allows only one luggage. Hopefully, KTM airport will honor the $100 2nd baggage fee which AA has listed in the ticket. Fingers crossed. So, many first time things. At least those I can write it here.

Friday morning, I wanted to have a weekend already

Last six months have been very busy, for months it was hectic. This is the first week in months, it was a bit slow with not too many meetings. It was a nice feeling. I woke up with something in my mind and couldn't fall asleep. I found myself going over and over about the same thing. 

I finally fell asleep, I wasn't feeling fresh when I woke up at 8 AM. I had to keep Dismissing the earlier times. I then went for a walk before starting work from home. I had walked about 15 minutes, I started feeling some ache on my thighs. I thought that was strange. On the way back, I felt it even more and my walk was slower than normal. I reached home, started feeling chilly. Then, within 2 hours, I felt more pain, headache and that's when I knew I needed to lie down. I emailed the team and decided to lie down.

Around 11 AM, I fell asleep and then woke up at 1pm and at 3pm. I didn't have the energy to take some medicine so I slept in pain. I managed to go to the kitchen, chop some mushroom and made some noodle soup. Soup made me feel so hot, I started sweating, it didn't taste good. I finally took some pain medicine. 

Medicine started working, made some mari, chaaana and ate. It wasn't tasty either. I decided to go to bed with some movie on my phone. I fell asleep and woke up with pain around 11PM. I couldn't turn to take medicine, I was that much in pain. So, around 11:45 PM, finally managed to take some medicine and slept. I woke up around 6:38 AM, didn't feel like yesterday. 

However, today food hasn't taste good. So, I decided to add some chilly on my fish. I made some of the same noodle soup, it tasted so good. Thank goodness. Thought of it, making me want to eat it again. What I want is something super tasty, momo. I have some in the freezer, will see if I will make and eat it. Or Non's tasty Drunken noodle would help too if it's tasty as normal. Last time, it wasn't at all spicy but, somewhat sweet. I wasn't impressed. 

I received a text message and then...

 After receiving the text message about the card being charged for a large amount, I confirmed with someone. I found out why that card was charged and that added stress on my part. I started feeling a bit stressed, angry and a lot of things started going on my mind. I couldn't think straight for few minutes. I told myself, 'Relax'. It's okay, take a walk. 

I did go for a walk, I was a bit upset too. I came home, made dinner, sold the bike rack, went to TJMAXX to window shop and then home again. It rained heavy for like 5 minutes, it didn't clean up all the dusts from my car. But, I wiped the water from the windows so that should be good.

So much has happened in the last few years and now the last few months

 Time seems to be passing so fast. We are all getting older, wiser with many experiences in life. I am not sure what I am trying to write here. 

Today's one of those Saturdays, I put mehendi, then vacuumed the house, after the shower, headed to Yard House for lunch with Heather. As always, we had a good time and good lunch. Missed out on taking a picture together for a memory. I hope I can have her over to my place soon. 

I will remember this day forever

With the busy schedule, I haven't been able to get to LA fitness. From months, I have been trying to get there few times a week or at least the weekend. But, no hasn't worked out yet. I finally cut off my ties with them with a heavy heart. Eleven years is a long time. I am sad in a way but. I didn't see a reason to keep it when I can't even make it there. I need a new game plan at home to workout and keep going. 

Also, today I went to see Nancy at the Ridgedale location. I have been working with her since 2008 I think. I am happy that she is retiring on Friday. However, also a bit sad I won't see her at the location. She has been great to work with. But, you know life goes on. One has to retire at some point in life.

Samsung S22 and me

It has been a long time I wrote something here. Few times, after changing the password, I couldn't remember the long ass password. Then I got busy and you know. 

I am going to actually write what I am thinking of. When it comes to phones, I have always loved Samsung. Samsung has been releasing new phones quite fast since S21, the zfold and now the S22 with three different versions, S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra which is actually a new Note. 

I wasn't thinking of upgrading the phone and then I received this email and thought I will check how much they will give if I trade-in my phone. To my surprise, they gave a decent price and I thought lets go for it. And then, I got the S22. And, I received the new S22. I am not sure when I will setup though. I have purchased some cases so far, I haven't found one that I like and sturdy.
